In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Denton; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Texas are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 6 pmβ12:30 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Bombay Indo Chinese at (214) 646-4075; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 178 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Denton.
Denton is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Denton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This indo-chinese food truck in Denton had a very large menu and even though the variety was large, every single item was splendid. They have a good seating area compared to other food trucks and they had many items available to take for customers such as utensils, napkins, and sauces which are sometimes limited at food trucks. They give water for free and the prices are very reasonable compared to the portion sizes that are provided. For example, the hot and sour soup had amazing flavor from the sweetness to the spice and how hot and wonderful they serve it. Overall a wonderful food truck you must stop by at when in the area.

It justifies the Bombay in their name. Chinese tastes so much like the Indo Chinese we get in Mumbai. I have tried their chinese bhel, Manchurian, Triple schezwan rice, Anerican chopsuey and all of these taste good. The only thing i don't like is they take 1-1.5 hour to prepare your order.

Such a solid find! This place seriously took me back to the streets of Mumbai with those authentic Indo-Chinese flavors π€ Itβs so rare to find proper OG Triple Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice in Dallas, and this hidden gem absolutely nailed it. The triple rice was legit - rice, noodles, chicken, omelette on top, and that delicious chicken Manchurian gravy on the side. Pure comfort food. We also tried the Veg Crispy with Manchurian balls, and the sauce was amazing - perfectly spicy, tangy, and flavorful. The portions are really good as well. Overall, an awesome food truck experience with truly authentic taste. Definitely worth the stop!
